The Maryland Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, a unit within the Maryland Department of Health, mission is to provide screening, diagnosis, and patient navigation services to women across the state of Maryland. It launched a new resourceful tool that can teach health practitioners as well as the public on the proper screening techniques of breast and cervical cancer. It also serves as a main information tool for woman who are unaware of the cancers and would like guidance, facts, and important information. The client needed a design that was ADA/Section-508 compliant as well as clean, straight-forward and reflect the target demographic (mid-late age women of varying colors, sexuality, and disabilities).
